Yuck!
By: Graham Paine
As part of Earth Month in April, Cathy's Crawly Composters gave an
environmental workshop to students at the E.C. Drury School for the
Deaf Junior Residence Tuesday. They were shown how red wiggler worms,
which can devour half their body weight each day in garbage, provide
rich compost soil. Here, Grade 2 student Mersady Johnson and Grade 8
student Jamal Green get a close-up look at the worms.
